D5 #12
Today we went to the Madison Car Show. (Tom and I weren't impressed but the boys still had fun.) There was a pretty cool John Deere tractor at the show that the boys had to go back at look at several times.
There was a also a real race car that Sawyer was able to get into and pretend to drive. At first he was pretty shy but as soon as Tom put him in the car he starting smiling right away.
For lunch Tom wanted to go to Noodles & Company. We asked Sawyer if he wanted Mac n Cheese and he said that he didn't but wanted chicken. Then after we questioned him, not believing he picked chicken over Mac n Cheese, he then said he wanted Chicken Mac n Cheese. Tom with his heart really set on Noodles & Company said okay to Sawyer just knowing that we could add chicken to the Mac n Cheese. As we pulled into the parking lot of Noodles & Company I pointed out the Old Chicago restaurant next door. Tom has never been to an Old Chicago so we decided to go there instead and you would never guess what one of the entree on the menu was - Chicken Mac n Cheese!!! (Sawyer looks scared in the picture but that is because he is saying "Cheese"!)
On our way home we stopped at GiGi's Cupcakes and got some special treats to take home - YUMMY! When we arrived at home we spent some time enjoying the beautiful weather outside together!
It was another successful D5 day with lots of family time and memories made to last a lifetime!

Cowboy Unit
Making patterns out of Lassos, Cactus and Cowboys! This was Sawyer's first time making/completing patterns and he did awesome! I only had to help him with the first pattern and then he got it.
Sawyer cutting out his Cowboy Boot. The finished project was not able to make the Unit Wall due to Sawyer getting a little carried away on the cutting and kept cutting until the boot was in a lot of little pieces.
Mason coloring his Cowboy Boot - he did a great job!
Our Story Time at the Library was about Cowboys and we all had to dress up! It sure was a lot of fun being Cowboys and Cowgirls!
Sawyer putting a puzzle together by putting the numbers in order. He did pretty good but still needs help identifying his numbers. He knows the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 5; the rest are hit and miss.

You are also growing a lot; compared to both your brother's weight at 2 month you are the biggest!
