Today we took Mason in for his 9 month check-up and to be honest I am a little surprised by the numbers. Granted he is still a big boy but not as big as what I was thinking. Over the past 3 1/2 months he only gained one pound; I guess he sure is getting a lot of exercise now that he is crawling the right way and standing up. And let me tell you - he is quick when he crawls! His officials numbers were: 28.75" for height (54.21%), 22# 10oz for weight (73.16%) and his head measurement was 47cm (86.35%). Yesterday was also a big day for Mason. He ate whole peas for the first time and climbed onto the first stair step; I am pretty sure my heart skipped a beat when I saw this.
Mason will tend to grab the spoon after you put it in his mouth. He will then chew/suck on it until all the food is off and then give it back to you for more. March 6th, 2011
