I just logged on to update and then realized that GramMie just told me to. So here ya go GramMie.
On Saturday I noticed that had his thumb in his mouth (this is new by the way). He however was not sucking on it but rather just chewing on it, I guess. Then yesterday GramMie and I were in Madison and he put his thumb in his mouth and was sucking.
The point of the story...we almost went 9 months without Sawyer ever sucking on his thumb (or any fingers for that matter). He is going to be 9 months on Thursday! We are getting his pictures taken on Friday and then his check-up will be on Tuesday the 7th.
Until next time....HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

Another Dr trip
Today I took Sawyer to see his doctor. My mom and I were noticing yesterday that he was still grabbing at his ears and being kind of fussy during the moments that he normally is fine (ie. after his bottle, sitting in the carseat, etc.). She (our doctor) checked both ears and the right one is better but the left still has some fluid in it. She said that is definetely is not as bad as when we went in on the 3rd of March but it's still infected. So it was back to the Wally World pharmacy for more medication. He was also weighed today and was at 20 lbs and 12 ounces.
I just feel so bad fo him that he is having such a hard time with his ears. The doctor said that it is very common for babies to have ear infections frequently due to the way the ear channel. In adults it is more veritical whereas in babies it is still horizontal therefore causing fluid buil-up because it can't drain. She said that she doesn't worry too much until after they turn one. So I'm praying that we will only have four more months of this.

Hooray Sprig is Here!
We are LOVING this weather! Today Sawyer and I took a walk with my mom with a total time of being outside of 1 1/2 hours.
Sawyer is doing pretty well. Last Tuesday we took him to the doctor (he is now weighing 20 lbs and 6 ounces) because he was having a fever and wasn't feeling the greatest. We found out that he had an ear infection in both ears (this is now the third time since November). He was then put on medication for 10 days (which is over now). However, I am realizing that he is still grabbing his ears sometimes so now we maybe heading back to the doctor tomorrow.
Then yesterday Auntie Sharyl came over and was talking to Sawyer about the teeth that were coming in and sure enough she noticed them before his own parents. All along we were watching for the wrong teeth. Tom and I had been looking for his top front and here it's the top but two over from the very front. We are unable to feel them yet but we can see the whiteness.
So like I said Sawyer is doing pretty well. With teething and two ear infections there are definetely rough moments, but we still have lots of fun!
