TN Vacation Day 4

Today we decided to have a fun, relaxing day where we could just stretch out our legs after our big van ride yesterday. Even though our condo had it's own kitchen we had not had time to go to a store to buy some milk for breakfast so we went out to eat at Flapjacks! We then just walked around downtown Gatlinburg enjoying the beautiful weather!


Gatlinburg reminded us a lot of the Wisconsin Dells just bigger and better! The main street was lined with shops but there were also little "side streets" that you could walk into that had more little shops.



On these side streets is where we found some cool fountains!



There was also a booth where Daddy went in to change into a Superhero!



On our walk we also found a little river that had ducks in it. The ducks would walk right up the stairs to the main sidewalk; there was even a lady there that was feeding the ducks.


We then went on the Space Needle. The Space Needle is 400' feet up in the air! You ride a glass elevator to the top and then are able to walk around at the top and see all of Gatlinburg!


The view of downtown Gatlinburg was really cool. The whole city was surrounded by mountains!





After the Space Needle we headed back to the condo to have dinner; we cooked up a frozen lasagna. While it cooked Daddy and Sawyer decided to explore around our condo and ended up finding four tennis balls!



After dinner we headed back to the Space Needle so that we could see downtown Gatlinburg at night!


During our drive the whole town was still decorated in their Christmas lights; we really enjoyed driving by all the displays and see the colorful lights.
