Christmas Tree

This past Friday we went to Miller Farms near Rio to pick out that perfect tree.

Sawyer really want this tree.

After giving him a few other options Sawyer decided to pick this one!

As always Sawyer is making sure daddy is doing a good job cutting down the tree.

Mason did an awesome job supervising everyone decorating the tree.

Sawyer putting the star on top of the tree.

On Saturday we decided to put a train going around the tree. This provides great entertainment for the boys (all three of them)!

The end result!

Mason's 6 month numbers!

Mason had his six month check up today. He sure is growing!

Height: 27 1/2" (83.87%)

Weght: 21 lb 12.8 oz (96.87%) I am a little confused by this though because when I looked at the scale I thought I read 21# 8ozs so who knows - either way he's huge!

Head: 46cm (95.31%) When the doctor remeasured she got 45cm.

The doctor also said we could start feeding him veggies. Well I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have been so blessed this past year! God has continued to be faithful to us and has shown us His love in so many ways. Our biggest blessing this year was the gift of Mason! He is the perfect addition to our family. We are also so blessed with how much Sawyer is growing and learning everyday!

Our Thanksgiving meal was Nachos!!!

On Friday we headed out to Aunt Toni's house for the Schoessow Thanksgiving!

Papa doing what Grandparents do best: load them up with sugar and then send them home! Of course Sawyer and Ava were very thankful for this ;)

I just love how this picture shows how much Sawyer and Mason admire each other.

Happy 6 Month Birthday Mason!

Dear Baby Mason,

You have completely turned my world upside down. Everyday you grow so much that I am scared to blink because I know I will miss something. I love everything about you! You have now expanded your vocabulary to "babababababa" and a high pitch squeal when you get really excited. I absolutely love listening to you talk while I wake up in the morning. You also do this really cute thing where you will be lying on your tummy in your crib and when you hear me walk into your room you will then stretch your neck up so that you can see over the crib railing to see and then you will have the biggest toothless smile ever! That toothless smile has also turned into a one tooth smile this past month! On November 23rd you got your first tooth and I see that you have another one on its way! You have conquered rolling over both ways. You adore your brother, Sawyer, and you love to watch him play. You love to be tickled under your chin. And most importantly you bring joy and the spirit of contentment to this home!

I am so blessed to be your mother. Thank you for the love that you show me everyday.
Love ~ Mommy

TIMBER!!!

This past Saturday Tom/Daddy, Grandma Annie and Uncle Ben cut down the six trees that were in our front yard. It only took about 3-4 hours; they sure did work hard!

Sawyer watched them work looking out Mason's bedroom window. Even though it was really cold he still opened the window and watched.

Mason fell asleep in his crib even though his window was open, chainsaw running and trees falling!

Grandma Annie was in charge of the chainsaw while daddy and Uncle Ben loaded up all the wood. Granmda Annie kept all the burnable wood for the winter.

TIMBER!

The brush filled up this trailer and the back of our pick-up truck.

This is what our front yard now looks like!

Update from Mie Mie's (Mason)

I love the fact that the amazing mom that raised and loved me spends time with my boys. Mie Mie and Mason have a special bond between each other - why else Mason roll over for Mie Mie first? ;)

This is actually a picture of Mason and I at Camp Cotton in Osseo, WI.

Update from Mie Mie's (Sawyer)

Sawyer LOVES going to Mie Mie's hosue. He loves it so much that I have even caught Tom telling Sawyer that he is going to Mie Mie's just to get him in the car (even though they really are not). It is such an incredible blessing to have Mie Mie live so close to be able to watch my boys when I go to work. THANK YOU MIE MIE!

I also am so blessed to have Papa close by as well. I really don't have any memories of being around my grandpa so I am glad that my boys are going to be able to have that relationship between a grandfather and grandson. The thing that Sawyer (and now Mason also getting involved) loves doing with Papa is riding on the 4-wheeler.

Taking a break from the ride while Sawyer and Mason tackle Papa.
